    20 June] 1911) was an Armenian writer, educator, folklorist, historian, linguist and public figure.[1]

    Biography

    Aghayan was born in the village of Bolnisi (also known as Bolnis-Khachen)[2][3] in the Tiflis Governorate (now Georgia) of the Russian Empire.

    He received his early education in Bolnisi, and at the age of thirteen he enrolled in the Nersisyan School in Tiflis.
