Actress, director, producer, and award-winning writer Bever-leigh Banfield is an accomplished storyteller on television, in movies, onstage, and on the page.

With an M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Drama and a B.A. from Stanford, where she studied writing, she has penned numerous celebrity interviews, the most notable of which, published in Essence magazine, won the American Diabetes Association National Media Award for journalism.
